June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. Several recent studies have suggested that there may be links between poor oral health (specifically, gum disease) and Alzheimer’s disease. According to the UK’s Alzheimer’s Society, if further research proves these links to be true, then good oral health may help slow dementia.
